About Me and Contact Information
Thank you so much for visiting my website!
I am so excited that you are here.
My name is Rabia Khokhar and I am an Elementary teacher in Toronto.
I am very passionate about equity and social justice education and try to ensure that my teaching and learning is embed in these frameworks.
I have had the privilege of teaching in many different parts of Toronto in many different roles and capacities.
In these different communities and roles, I have had the opportunity to think critically about what and how teaching with an equity lens looks, sounds and feels like. This learning has pushed me to strive to be a teacher that is constantly learning and evolving.
I have had the great honour of completing a Master's of Education Degree in Social Justice Education and a diploma in Education in Urban Environment concurrently. As well as, complete the Inclusive Classrooms Specialist Additional Qualification Courses.
I believe in that it is very important to ensure the accessibility of learning and information and so my practice is focused on bringing theory to practice in the classroom/learning space.
In this website, I hope to share my passion for equity in education through sharing my learning, thinking, experiences, book recommendations, twitter posts, newsletters, etc.
I hope that you enjoy your time here and if you have any questions please feel free to email me at
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!!
